 In this blog, I am going to share my vision for my career, my mission statement and my short, medium and long term goals.

My vision:

"In the next 10 years, I envision myself at a stable and better position. I can see myself working as a CPA in an accounting firm. I see myself leading professionals, and providing accounting services to my clients or customers. I'll keep learning and will keep enhancing my skills. I will use my expertise and knowledge to lead my team with great knowledge and understanding."

My Mission statement:

"To become a dedicated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and to provide my clients with financial services and exceptional customer service,  to maintain a high level of integrity, transparancy and to make a positive impact in the business world. To enhance and build new skills at every point of my life."

My S.M.A.R.T goals

Short term - To achieve 3.5- 4.0 CGPA in my course 

S - To get at least 3.5 CGPA in my course till the end of the final semester

M - To measure this I will keep track of my grades in every subject I am taking.

A - The goal is achievable because I have maintained a great CGPA of 3.6 till now so I will be focusing on maintaining that.

R - The goal is relevant to my career to become a future CPA I have to score good grades in my course.

T - I will complete this goal till the end of this semester.

Medium term -  To get an internship in a accounting firm

S - To obtain a great internship in an accounting firm during my current semester

M - To measure the progress I will keep track of the number of applications I have submitted and the interviews and career fairs atentted.

A - The goal is achievable because I have already applied to many internship applications and I have also applied for FIRST IMPRESSION Hiring event ( a hiring event for business students).

R - This goal is relevant to my career field because this will give me the practical experience in the financial industry.

T - I will complete the application process for my internship by the end of June.

Long term - To become a Certified Public Accountant 

S - To get the CPA License , by completing the coursework and passing the exam.

M - To measure this goal I will keep track of every step in the process, such as completing the credit hours, scheduling exam dates.

A - The goal is achievable as I am focused towards me achieving the goal by taking guidance from my mentors, keeping me updated with the exam layout.

R - The goal is relevant as I want to become a Certified Public Accountant, and that is where I imagine myself to be.

T - I will complete the first step for becoming the CPA which is completing the coursework till the end of 2025.
